• Education

  Floridians are continuously trying to improve our schools, as can be seen by the constitutional amendments limiting class size and establishing free and universal pre-k. But these programs rely on adequate funding, which comes from a good partnership between the federal and local government.

• Homeland Security

  The first responsibility of our government is the security of every American. America can't afford to lose focus on our security; it must be our number one priority.

• Environment

  Protecting the environment is vital to protecting the health of all Americans, especially our children. We must refocus our efforts on policies that promote cleaner air, cleaner water, and preservation of our natural resources.

• Healthcare

  The cost of healthcare is out of control. We need to make coverage affordable and accessible because all Americans deserve access to quality health care.

• Veterans

  Our veterans kept their commitment to our country; we must keep our commitment to them. Congress must work in a bipartisan way to ensure the VA, and our veterans, have the resources they need.

• Economy

  We need to take America in a New Direction by bringing opportunity and fiscal security to all Americans, not just a wealthy few.
